TW: How did this collaboration come about?
LE: I always envisioned capturing incredible photos of our properties and compiling them into a stunning Art book for people to enjoy. During Covid, I teamed up with my dear friend photographer John Russo and we discussed the project. I am excited to finally bring it to fruition.
TW: Which properties will be featured in the book?
LE: We have so many incredible properties around the world that are visually stunning. We decided to start off with our Legend and Beyond Green Properties for the first part of the project. From, The Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, Calif., to the The Mark in New York, and the incredible Grand Hotel Tremezzo in Italy’s Lake Como we have compiled quite a list of iconic properties for this important project.
TW: I know people love the element of surprise, but can you tell us a little bit about the project?
LE: Yes, happy to share some details. We commissioned photographer John Russo and videographer Ken Waller to travel to our Legend & Beyond Green properties globally to capture unique and creative still and video assets of each property and their surrounding region. We want to tell the story of these magical destinations.
TW: With all of the new shows like, “The White Lotus”, focusing on hotels and resorts. Do you see an opportunity to do something like this with your properties.
LE: Well, funny you should say that! You know something things have to kept a secret, so I’m going pass on that answer for now! (she laughs)
TW: This is such an exciting project and I’m sure you can not wait to launch. Have you decided on a time line?
LE: The project has already started so we will keep you posted on our launch!
