Located in the heart of Lisbon, surrounded by the city’s rolling green hills and overlooking Edwardo VII Park is an oasis of luxury. Four Seasons Lisbon, is an ideal respite from hectic city life. The historic 282-room hotel features a stunning mix of Art Deco and Louis XVI interiors, not to mention an important collection of local contemporary artwork including numerous paintings and sculptures. Meanwhile, endless views surround a formal courtyard with fountains and open space—leading to a tropic oasis pool complex and the Ritz Pool bar—with swaying palm trees leaving guests with an immediate sense of relaxation.
Guest suites include the Elite Almada Negreiros Suite, the Pedro Leitao Suite, the Royal Suite, and of course the ultimate, The Presidential Suite fit for any king.
Relaxation is at the heart of the resort, with a spa that features an array of incredible treatments including my favorite: The Seven Hills of Lisbon Massage. The spa is designed as a peaceful retreat, featuring plenty of natural light, a color palette inspired by the local colorful tiles, and stunning local artwork.
Of course, the food here is incredible as well, with four on-site restaurants—Cura, Varanda, O Japones & the Ritz Pool Bar—all offering locally sourced ingredients.
With so many recreational activities, site-seeing opportunities and day trips to local historic towns, Four Seasons Lisbon should be at the top of your destination list.
