Beginning August 1, Beverly Hills’ world-renowned fashion houses and one-of-a-kind local boutiques will stay open late as part of the Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau’s bi-annual BOLD Summer event. It kicks off with an extravagant block party on Rodeo Drive and continues every Thursday, Friday and Saturday throughout the month. In addition to extended shopping hours, the BOLD Summer programming includes a Louis Vuitton Moet & Hennessy pop-up shop called Louis Vuitton X that features nine rooms of more than 180 items from the Louis Vuitton archives.

The city’s unique art scene also will be showcased through an array of art activations—including the unveiling of a sculpture by world-renowned artist Janet Echelman, titled 1.78, that will be positioned above Santa Monica Boulevard in front of The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. Other art-themed events include a live art experience by famous street artist, Mr. Brainwash; guided tours and panel discussions at popular art galleries like Galerie Michael and Gagosian; and architectural tours of the City led by historian Phil Savenick. Meanwhile, Beverly Canon Park will feature live music, and guests also are encourage to meander through the newly refurbished Beverly Gardens Park.
