JR: Who was your favorite player growing up and why?

JD: I grew up watching Murray in his prime and I was on Centre Court when he won his first Wimbledon. He has always been my favorite player and a role model for me.

JR: Which player, who has retired, would you have loved to play?

JD: I would have loved to play against Federer, he has been such a great role model and ambassador for the sport.

JR: Who do you think was or is the greatest player of all time? The GOAT.

JD: Whilst Novak is set to break all the records – in my era, it will always be between Roger, Novak & Rafa.

JR: Of all of the great women tennis players, both past and present, which do you think would be the hardest to play?

JD: With all she’s achieved in the sport, it’s very hard to look past Serena Williams. 23 Grand Slam singles titles is incredible.

JR: What is your dream in terms of tennis?

JD: I think ultimately, it’s to do everything possible to fulfill my potential in this sport. I want to look back with no regrets, knowing that I gave it my all. I think if I can do that, I’ll hopefully have a lot of success.

JR: If you could get rid of one rule in tennis what would it be and why?

JD: Hmm, that’s a tough one.  I think the sport is in a great place right now and I’ve liked the recent addition of coaching which I think has been well-received amongst the players.
