The Silveri Hong Kong–MGallery, part of Citygate’s mixed-use extension project, will be the brand’s first hotel in a major city within Greater China. The stylish manor, situated next to the Novotel Citygate hotel in Tung Chung, will rise as a shining star amongst the tranquil greenery of Lantau Island, thanks to its silver design elements. Even the name of the hotel references silver in terms of the silver mine resources in east Lantau, as well as the shimmering water surrounding the island.

Conveniently situated above Tung Chung MTR station, the hotel is within a five-minuted drive of Hong Kong International Airport and AsiaWorld-Expo. Also within easy reach are some of Lantau Island’s most famous attractions, such as The Big Buddha, Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car and Hong Kong Disneyland.

When the hotel debuts late this year, guests will enter via The Conservatory—an arrival hall with green walls, lush landscaping and an open-air atrium. The hotel will feature 206 guest rooms and suites with interior design by Hong Kong-based Cream. Large windows offer views of Lantau’s green hills, while the use of hardwood floors and stone bring the outdoors in. Some the guest rooms and suites boast outdoor terraces and jacuzzis, and a selection of suites feature expansive terraces and plunge pools.

Dining options abound, with three restaurants all designed by Hong Kong’s LWK & Partners—a firm that also designed the lobby. Guests can choose from The Enclave, the hotel’s all-day modern bistro; The Pavilion, a sophisticated cocktail bar; and Fresh, a deli and cafe serving light bites.

Other hotel amenities include an executive lounge on the hotel’s top floor; a 25-meter outdoor pool and a lawn for yoga practice (landscaping for both designed by Hong Kong’s Adrian L. Norman); and a fully equipped gym. With all of this, and so much more, The Silveri Hong Kong—MGallery will be a welcome addition to other well-known hotels in MGallery’s collection, including Hotel Molitor Paris and INK Hotel Amsterdam. 51 Man Tung Road, Tung Chung, Hong Kong, +852.3602.8862
